ABOUT
Working Towards a Better Tomorrow
KTZLY improves and enriches the quality of life of Jewish seniors in New York, who suffer bitterly from countless hours in solitude and are desperately in need of personal visitations and programming to infuse their lives with meaning, alleviate social isolation and to avoid serious depression.

OUR STORY
KTZLY was established in 1980 by the Chabad Lubavitch Rebbe in memory of his father, R’ Levi Yitzkchok Schneerson to assist the elderly. Our nearly four decades of experience has shown that the most pressing, and often the most neglected need for Jewish seniors, is for social interaction and companionship as well as intellectual stimulation and spirituality. Providing friendships and a connection to their Jewish faith and traditions brings enhanced mental and spiritual well-being generating feelings of wholeness and inner serenity. Our programs aim to lift the spirits and providing meaningful, long-lasting enhancements to the quality of life of seniors.
